DELTA STATE: Gov. Oborevwori Appoints Vanguard Correspondent As Chief Press Secretary
The newly sworn-In Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of Olorogun Festus Ahon as Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
This was contained in a statement on Monday May 29, 2023, signed by the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Asaba, Mr. E.E. Ogidi-Gbegbaje.

“It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State has approved the appointment of Mr. Festus Ighoyeguonor Ahon as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of the State.
“Until his appointment, Mr. Ahon was the State Correspondent of the the Vanguard Newspaper and National Ex-Officio member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
“The appointment takes immediate effect,” the statement indicated.
