The Delta State Executive Council on Tuesday, approved the establishment of a modular refinery and the commencement of work at the agro-industrial park at Aboh-Ogwashi.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, disclosed this to newsmen shortly after the state executive meeting which held virtually.
Aniagwu maintained that the modular refinery when established will generate revenue for the state and create job opportunities for the people.
The commissioner noted that state government decided that it would explore the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Agriculture Loan to establish the agro-industrial park.
”Today’s executive meeting was focused on how to improve the economy of the State. This is why the State government decided that it would explore the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Agriculture Loan to establish the agro-industrial park.
“We are investing in a modular refinery at Okpai, Ndokwa East LGA. The modular refinery when established will generate revenue for the state and create job opportunities for our people” .
