Delta Govt Commences Active Search Case Of COVID19 In Six LGAs

The Delta State Government disclosed that it has commenced an active case search in six LGAs in a bid to check community transmission of #COVID19 in the state.

The Commissioner for Health, Dr. Mordi Ononye, disclosed this in Asaba during a news briefing by the Technical Committee on #COVID19 Response in the state.

Dr. Ononye commended the health workers for their tireless efforts in the fight against #COVID19 and disclosed that the State Government has ensured that over 2,557 health workers in the state have been provided with life insurance— in order to motivate them.

Last week, the State Government launched a new 100-bed isolation centre and the state Ministry of Health commenced the distribution of face masks to healthcare facilities across the state.
