Customs Takes Sensitization Programme On New Clearance System To NAGAFF Secretariat

In line with the Customs modernisation project pilot phase of new clearance system, management of the service is set to embark on a one day sensitization training programme for members of the National Association of Govt. Approved Freight Forwarders Nigeria Licensed (NAGAFF) .

The sensitization is expected to take place on Tuesday 24th September at the National Secretariat of NAGAFF, Apapa, Lagos.

According to a document sighted by DAILYFOCUS NIGERIA dated September 17th 2024 and signed A. Yakubu , with reference A is a letter from the office of the Deputy Comptroller General (ICT) on modernization project-pilot phase of new clearance system.

The document noted that “In view of the above, I write to inform you that the ICT team from headquarters are coming to your secretariat for the sensitization of the Unified Customs Management System (UCMS) Pilot.

“The implementation is scheduled to kick off on Monday, 23 rd September, 2024 at Customs Training College, Ikeja, by ll am.

“While the Sensitization at your secretariat is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 24th September, 2024 by 01:30 pm.
