In a press statement signed by Public Relations Officer, Kano/Jigawa Customs Area Command Superintendent of Customs, Saidu Nuruddeen recently , stated that it was a significant move aimed at enhancing regional trade and fostering economic development between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
Speaking on the occasion, the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, represented by the Zonal Coordinator Zone B of Nigeria Customs Service, Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs Sambo Dangaladima, emphasised that the establishment of the Kano Trade Office further solidifies Kano’s status as a major commercial hub in Nigeria.
