CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE : Seafarers’ Union Celebrates Elected P-G MWUN, Comrade Bunu

Chief Engr Bob Joseph Yousuo, National President, Nigeria Merchant Navy Officer and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA) on behalf of his executives has felicitates Comrade Bunu Francis as the newly elected President General and other executives, of the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN).

Chief Yousuo who doubles as the Chairman International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) Africa Seafarers , as well as Chairperson ITF Fair Play Global Committee , described Comrade Bunu as the man – the – cap – fits.

According to Yousuo, in a statement on Sunday, by Comrade John Okpono Aleakhue, Comrade Bunu antecedents are testament for him to clinch to the enviable and exotic position as the PG, MWUN.

“He is a team player and an achiever. He is a round hole in a round peg .
Comrade Bunu has served meritoriously in the unit, district, branch as well as in the National as DPG. He has more than two decades of unionism experiences fighting for the welfare and wellbeing of maritime workers. ” Yousuo stated .

The season seafarer further urged the newly elected P-G to emulate his predecessor and imbibe the spirit of collaboration and inclusiveness for the big task ahead.

” We pledge our unalloyed support to ensure he delivered. Our existing comradeship must be maintain as to keep the maritime employers on check Chief Yousuo advised saying,”Once again, a big congratulations and say keep the flag flying.”
