Comrade Ige Dumps AREFFN For APFFLON, Says Daura Led Association Lacks Managerial Skills

A former member , Association of Registered Freight Forwarders in Nigeria (AREFFN) Comrade Jude Ige has defected to fast rising group ; Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics (APFFLON)

 

 

Ige who was the former Chairman, Tin Can Island Port Complex (TICPC) chapter of AREFFN disclosed this to DAILYFOCUS NIGERIA in Lagos on Monday.

 

 

The freight agent has been selected as  Chairman, PTML  Chapter of APFFLON , even as the inauguration is scheduled to hold this Saturday in Lagos.

According to him, change is the only thing constant in life , thus the need for the cross carpeting .

He noted that APFFLON believes in struggle of members , with a strong knack for “injury to one is injury to all”.

 

The ex – AREFFN stalwart noted that:

“With APFFLON I’m more relax,my short time with APFFLON is better than all the years spent in AREFFN.

 

 

He said “AREFFN lack better national presence and management.

“There is no much to talk about my resignation from AREFFN,only to those who you know that in life there is time for everything on this mother earth.

“It’s my time to move further to the association that knows your value and have the maritime industry at heart and the welfare of all maritime stakeholders not just being there.

 

“APFFLON is different because everybody is important to them,they believed in the principle of injury to one is injury to all ,that’s while I believed in .

 

Also , in a statement made available to DAILYFOCUS NIGERIA by the freight forwarder, explained “;  I believe that I have given my best to AREFFN at TCIPC and PTML ; now another association needs my contribution and experience to serve and to take it to the next level”, Comrade Ige affirmed.

Industry watchers have observed that the AREFFN have not been visible on issues affecting freight forwarding practice mostly as it concerns the forthcoming elections of the Council for the Regulations of Freight Forwarding Practice in Nigeria (CRFFN).

 

Observers have also expressed doubts if any individuals from  the association would participate in the election .
