Chevrolet Willing To Help Bankroll A Deal To Bring Ronaldo Back To Manchester United
Manchester United could be in line for a sensational transfer to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club.
The Portuguese superstar is still bundling in goals in Serie A for Juventus and at the international level despite being 35 years of age.
But reports suggest Juve are considering selling Ronaldo due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
And according to Auto Esporte, United’s shirt sponsor Chevrolet could be willing to help the club bankroll a deal to bring Ronaldo back to Manchester.
Chevrolet is envious of how Juventus having Ronaldo has boosted their shirt sponsor, Jeep.
Given Juventus have an interest in Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, a player plus cash swap deal may not be so surprising in the summer.
Andrea Pirlo’s side would also be relinquished of Ronaldo’s £28m-per-year salary.
