Breaking News: DJ Arafat dies after a fatal road accident

Renowned Ivorian musician, DJ Arafat known in real life as Houon Ange Didier has passed away after a dangerous road accident on Sunday night in Abidjan.

 

He died this Monday 12th August 2019 at about 8am, according to reports.

His motorcycle crashed into a car driven by a Radio Côte d’Ivoire journalist. The singer, who was unconscious, was quickly rushed to a clinic called Polyclinique des Deux Plateaux in Abidjan,and was admitted to intensive care.Unfortunately, he did not make it.

Speaking to Jeune Afrique on condition of anonymity, a doctor at the clinic said,”He was admitted to the emergency room in a vegetative state. He had a skull fracture and oedema, the medical teams tried to revive him, “in vain”.
