BREAKING: Ex- NPA Branch President Leke Sanni Passes On

Tragedy struck the maritime and labour industries as the  former President , Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Branch, Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Adeleke Sanni has been confirmed dead.

 

 

DAILYFOCUS NIGERIA confirmed that the labour leader died on Sunday 27 June 2021, in Lagos.

 

It was gathered that Comrade Sanni slumped shortly after cash withdrawal from an ATM machine, on his way home after church service in Lagos.

The labour leader who until is death was  the Special Adviser on Labour Matter, to the President General, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju.

While contacting the union’s President General via telephone conversation, said Comrade Sanni will be greatly missed by all.

Adeyanju said the late union leader was with him on Thursday as they brainstorm on how to hold the Seamen and NIWA branch election.

 

Adeyanju said “The world is a mystery indeed because I just lost a very good friend who indeed is closed to my heart”.

 

 

“We all will surely die one day but the death of my very good brother and friend is painful indeed.”

 

Sanni held various positions under the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) both at national and state levels respectively.
