Bala Usman Reappointment Is A Blessing To Maritime Industry – Former NPA SSACGOC President

A former National President  , Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SSACGOC) , NPA Branch, Comrade Yau Gora Adamu has described the reappointment of Hadiza Bala Usman, Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority ( NPA) by President Muhammadu Buhari as a blessing to the maritime industry.

 

 

 

 

Yau in a statement  made available to newsmen over the weekend, noted that the reappointment would give room for the MD to conclude some unfinished and pending projects for the benefit of the maritime industry , urging the NPA boss to further prioritize workers welfare.

He affirmed that a robust working relationship between the maritime  unions and management would further bring more blessings because prayers from employees under her leadership for the good deeds will open more doors of opportunities in  future endeavours.

The ex-SSACGOC NPA Branch boss reiterated that already  stakeholders from the industry have benefitted in numerous ways, urging her to do more, as part of efforts in serving the country.

 

 

Yau also appealed to the Bala Usman not to relent by monitoring on some lingering project saying the Apapa Oshodi Expressway should be aggressive followed up for the benefit of port users and other relevant stakeholders.

While commending  her for the reappointment, Comrade Yau pointed out in the congratulatory letter that : “On behalf of my family and staff, we officially write to felicitate with you on your reappointment as Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

 

 

“Indeed your reappointment was duly merited considering your laudable contribution to the growth of the maritime industry.

 

 

“Your passion and love for workers and stakeholders in the sector have paved the way for the federal government to give you another opportunity to serve your fatherland once again.
