BACK TO SCHOOL: RCCG Comforters Assembly Distributes School Bags To Children

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG),Comforters Assembly, Lagos Province 38 ,has distributed school bags to families of the Parish, in line with its Christian Social Responsibility (CSR).

The items which were distributed to no fewer than 40 children of the church ,was aimed at supporting families to ameliorate the issues bothering on school’s needs.

The beneficiaries of the items include : kindergarten, Crèche, Nursery and Primary.
While harping on the need to assist families with children in schools, during the “Family Sunday Service” , Pastor, in charge of Comforters Assembly, recently , Muyiwa Matilukuro said it was the church little contribution to members.
Pastor Matilukuro stated that Jesus love children and is displeased when he (God) see them suffering.
“Suffering comes in different form. They are not looking neatly dressed to school is a form of suffering.
He said “According to the scripture mark10vs14 ,says we should not suffer little children to come unto him .
“What they need from the church is to feed them spiritually and physical.
” This is just what we try to do as part of part of our Christian Corporate Social Responsibility                                                       .
“We , the RCCG Comforters Assembly     just wanted to assist the parents to take off the stress   of school bags for the children”, he added.
Meanwhile, the Parish cleric also inaugurated the youth executives recently as Brother Ozurumba Emeka emerged Youth President of the RCCG Comforters Assembly.
Others include :Sister Victoria Titus and Sister Teju emerged 1st and Second Vice President respectively.
Brother Olayinka Balogun emerged Evangelism and Publicity Secretary, while Brother Olawale and David emerged Secretary and Prayer Warrior respectively.
