AWARDS CEREMONY: COMTUA Honours Adaku, Folashade At 2022 Congress 

The duo of Folashade Aderounmu and Adaku Onyenuchaya  have been honoured for their roles in transport reportage by the Council for Maritime Transport Unions and Associations (COMTUA)
The two female personalities who currently work with Guardian newspapers (Adaku) and Traffic Radio 96.1fm (Folashade ) were awarded over the weekend at the just concluded COMTUA Congress 2022 held in Lagos.

They both bagged the COMTUA media personalities of the year award .

Other recipient of the honours are : Vice President,Prof.Yemi Osinbajo,Lagos state governor, Mr.Babajide Sanwoolu,and the Aareonakakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams.
Apart from the trio, other awardees are The AIG Zone 2, Zonal Headquarters. AIG Bode Adeyinka Adeleke, Commissioner of Police, Lagos state Command,CP Biodun Alabi,Special Adviser to the Governor,Ministry of Transportation , Lagos state.Hon Shola Giwa, Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA,Ikorodu, Local Government,Nigerian Shippers’ Council,some committed members of COMTUA and other distinguished individuals and corporate bodies among others.

While receiving the awards, the awardees stated that the honour would spur to greater strides in their media practice.

They all appreciated the honour bestowed on them by the amalgamation of truck Unions and Associations.
