AT PRIMETIME REPORTERS 10TH ANNIVERSARY: Inuwa Abdullahi Bags “Transporter Of The Decade Award”

A chieftain of the Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners ( NARTO) Alhaji Inuwa Abdulahi Mohammed has bagged Primetime Reporters “Transporter of the Decade Award”.

Inuwa who was celebrated at Primetime Reporters 10th Anniversary held in Lagos on Wednesday,, December 4th 2024, dedicated his award to the foremost transport association NARTO and his metropolitan team

The transporter acknowledged NARTO contribution to the nation’s economy and haulage business in port operations.

According to him, haulage operations at port level plays critical role to the nation’s economy,adding that the media has been supportive in the last ten years to projecting the challenges faced by truckers.

He added that land mode transportation cannot be separated from shipping became according to him, cargo can only get to the shippers warehouse through the road pointing out that NARTO will continue to lend its voice to effect change in port operations.

Inuwa is the Chairman of NARTO Metropolitan section and the Managing Director, Gg Global Enterprise Nigeria Limited .

He further called on the government to fix some of the roads which are in a deplorable condition , stressing that multimodal system of transportation will result to seamless cargo movement across the six geopolitical zones and Lagos -Abidjan corridor.

In the last decade, Inuwa has been instrumental towards ensuring that government pays attention to the plights of truckers and haulage business with the port community of Lagos.

Earlier, Editor in Chief Primetime Reporters,Saint Augustine Nwadinamuo stated ” The task of building our industry nay our nation is for all of us and our economy will blossom and become one of the largest in the world to the extent of our involvement in realizing this onerous task and there is no better place to articulate ideas that will be useful in harnessing the inherent in the sector than this “.

Nwadinamuo affirmed that the government is very keen about diversification away from oil and gas thus ,the blue economy has the potentials to help drive the needed revenue.

Eighteen recipients were honoured by the media outfit for the 2024 edition of Primetime Reporters awardees.
