At Birthday Celebration: Idimogu Drums Support For Tinubu’s Presidential Ambition

The honourable member representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Jude Chukwuemeka Omobowale Idimogu has thanked God for granting him the grace to be among the living and to celebrate another birthday day irrespective of the highs and lows for the 2022.

Idimogu stated this in a chat with newsmen in his Ejigbo residence over the weekend to mark his birthday.

In his Christmas message,  Idimogu averred that Christians should show love to one another and be willing to make sacrifices for greater unity, peace and progress of our beloved country.

Christians he admonished to reflect on the lessons of Christmas to ensure that they live peacefully with their Muslim counterparts in the quest for a better future.

“We must eschew bitterness and all forms of violence. The progress, peace and security of the nation are anchored on good neighborliness and peaceful co-existence among Nigerians.

“If we live peacefully with one another we will not be confronted with issues of armed banditry, herdsmen attacks, kidnapping and other vices threatening the soul of our great Country.”

On the 2023 presidential election, he called on Nigerians especially his constituents, friends, Igbo brothers and sisters to support the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress(APC) candidates in the state.

The lawmaker who is the chairman House Committee on Wealth Creation and Employment, Lagos State House of Assembly, said no amount of politics will make him forget the love Tinibu has shown him and his people describing him as his rock of Gibraltar.

Recalling how Tinubu has stood by him, gave him support even as a none yoruba to get to the height he has attained in Lagos politics.

Described Tinubu as a highly detribalised Nigerian whose kindness to humanity in general is legendary.

“Tinubu I know has a Midas touch. Whatever he touches turns to gold. Very accommodating. He is a team player who loves all men regardless of tribe or religion. He has built bridges across.

“My being in the Lagos House of Assembly second term wouldn’t have been easy if not for his support. He has supported me and many others as a mentor, brother and friend.

“Tinubu as a peace maker has succeeded to broker peace in the party where others failed. Wherever he goes, he goes with the message of peace.

“In Cross Rivers, Adamawa, Kwara, Kano, name them. He has what it takes to speak to the conscience of aggrieved persons and make them sheathe their swords. That’s what makes a capable leaders in a heterogeneous society like ours. His understanding of economy is sine qua non.

Idimogu stated that as one who has contributed so much in enthroning democracy, he has continued to take risks, defying all odds to visit security prone areas to be able to reach out to Nigerians and send them message of hope.

Congratulating the”Iconic lawmakers”, his Special Assistant to on media, Henry Uzodimma, described his birthday as a wonderful moment in the life of an enigma and a political colossus.

“His birthday renewal becomes imperative looking at the indelible footprints and impacts he has made in justification of his existence.

“He has demonstrated the unflinching love and passion for humanity through the instrument of lawmaking with responsible and responsive Leadership.

“His enormous contributions to the business of  lawmaking towards making his Constituency a better place is not in doubt. His pragmatic approach speaks volume of his leadership qualities as a lawmaker with uncommon dexterity and vision.
