Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has nominated Mr Rufus Olaniran Olatona as Chairman of the State’s Internal Revenue Service.
This was contained in a statement signed by Yinka Oyebode, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, on Thursday 27 October, 2022.
Olatona, who hails from Okemesi- Ekiti is a chartered Accountant and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
He holds an HND in Accountancy from the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos (1992), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife (2010).
His appointment is subject to confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
Recall that the newly elected governor has continued to appoint members of his cabinet after the election.
