APGA Sacks Willie Obiano As BOT Chairman

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced the removal Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State as its Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman.

Also, removed  on Tuesday was Bianca Ojukwu, wife of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu alongside others.

The decision was taken in Awka during the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, which followed the expiration of the four year term of the members of the BOT.

Meanwhile, the party had picked May 31, 2019 for its national convention at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Center in Awka, Anambra State.

National Secretary of APGA, Labaran Maku, new BOT members are to be nominated ahead of its National Convention for ratification, adding that the Ward and Local Government Congresses of the party would hold on the 19th and 21st of May

Again, the State and Zonal congresses are to take place on the 23rd of May.

While addressing the NEC meeting, Obiano  assured  the readiness of the party’s National Assembly members elect to support the Federal Government in achieving its development agenda.
