ANLCA NPS,Onyeme Assures Maritime Stakeholders Of Peaceful BOT Election

Ahead of the Board Of Trustees (BOT) election, National Public Secretary, Associates of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Comrade Emmanuel Onyeme has assured stakeholders in the maritime industry that the forthcoming poll will be conducted in a peaceful and orderly manner.

Onyeme who is the Managing Director,AUG Nigeria Limited,spoke with journalists on Thursday in Lagos.

He disclosed that contestants in the election are customs licensed owners with reputable track records in the freight forwarding business and high profile of professionalism.

The National Public Secretary, expressed satisfaction over a peaceful one year in office by the Kingsley Emenike led ANLCA, saying that gradually the association is gathering momentum in harmonizing members.

According to him, ANLCA is the foremost licensed customs brokers and freight forwarding group with members cut across the six geo political zones of the country .

Onyeme, who was the former Public Relations Officer, Tin Can Island Chapter of ANLCA reiterated that “Election is about selling yourself and selling yourself comes with character, pedigree, honesty, transparency and others.

He noted that:”We will continue to pray for God to give us the best in terms of the Board of Trustees BOT of our great Association .

“The board has a stake to help move ANLCA forward and that is our prayers and we can only wish the contestants good luck because they are all professional in this industry.”, the ANLCA Spokesman stated.

The ANLCA BOT is expected to hold on the 12th of September 2024.
