ANLCA Lifts Ban On Expelled Members, As NECOM Congratulates New BOT, Patron, Others

Sequel to a successful hosting of the Annual General Meeting (AGM),  the Association of  Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has lifted the ban on all suspensed members.

Acting President of ANLCA, Dr. Kayode Farinto in a congratulatory message on Thursday , disclosed that  letters from the NECOM will be dispatch to those affected  in the quickest possible time.

Farinto noted that” In the spirit of the new ANLCA, the NECOM have lifted all forms of suspension and expulsion on all affected members and a letter from the NECOM will be dispatch to them in the quickest possible time.

The acting President also lauded efforts made by the Minister of Transportation for initiating the peace process  and doggedness, patience, focus and determined leadership, even as he further commended  the Chairman of CRFFN, Alhaji Abubakar Tsanni and the Acting Registrar of the Council for having shown commitment for ensuring that the peace in ANLCA is achieve.

The congratulatory message reads “The National Executive Committee (NECOM) want to Congratulate the newly  inaugurated  Board of Trustees (BOT) members and the new  Patron  of Association of  Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) for the successful  peace accord and eventful swearing -in of our respected elders and leaders that will lead the great ANLCA in the next six years as Board members.

“We know this road was not easy , but we thank God it was a successful outing that has  put to an end  five years crises that has nearly grounded  our dear Association.

“We want to Specially, thank and appreciate our  latest Patron, Prince Taiye Oyeniyi , who made the greatest sacrifice of stepping down as BOT member  for us to move forward.

“Our Special appreciation and gratitude also goes to our newly Inaugurated  BOT members namely, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha, Prince Ozo Chukwura, Sir Ernest Elochukwu, Alhaji Dayo Azeez, Alhaji Shamsudeen Awopeju, Eniola Igbaruola, Kingsley Offor and Chief Dennis Okafor .

“Sirs, for your sacrifices in giving way for peace to reign in ANLCA, we owe you all  depts  of gratitude and history will not forget you all for this humane  gestures.

”We want to also appreciate the roles of the former president of ANLCA, Prince Olayiwola  Shittu, the  current  president, Hon. Iju Tony  Nwabunike,  Chief Henry Njoku,  ANLCA Patron and Vice Chairman CRFFN,  Chief Peter Obih, Patron ANLCA, HRM, EZE , Dr , Amb.Damian  Emeka OBIANIGWE,  President General , ASPIM ,Chief Oye Ariyo, President,Oodua Maritime Forum and  many other leaders and elders of our great Association, who have worked behind the scenes for this peace process to be a reality.

“And to all our dear members, CEOs and MDs of respected companies in ANLCA, we want to salute your dexterity, perseverance and the hope you have in this NECOM, that has led us to this milestone Peaceful resolution of this crises. Now that we are one big family, I plead with you all, let’s bury the past and work for the future for us all to grow and achieve together.

“Finally, our appreciation goes to the Minister of Transportation for initiating the peace process. We want to specially thank and appreciate the doggedness, patience, focus and determined leadership, which the Chairman of CRFFN, Alhaji Abubakar Tsani and the Acting Registrar of the Council have shown in making sure the peace in ANLCA is achieve.

“And for our Industry stakeholders, we want to assure you that ANLCA is back on tract to contribute as one indivisible to the growth and development of the Industry. So,  we also need your understanding and cooperation too.

“In all, we are grateful that in the resolutions of the crises there is no victor , no vanquish. ”
