Onochie in a chat over the weekend, expressed optimism of the candidacy of Onyeme noting that his track records speak volumes as a former Public Relations Officer (Back To Back) of ANLCA, Tin Can Island Port Chapter, Secretary of ANLCA HQ Compliance Team and also the EFCC Liaison Officer representing ANLCA HQ which according to Onochie performed very well.

The freight forwarder stated that Onyeme will perform better when he works closely with Dr. Farinto adding that the group will give him all the necessary support to come out of the election victorious because the same group were the one that produced him as PRO (Back To Back) at Tin Can Island Port Chapter.

Onochie reiterated that himself ,Ojo Peter Akintoye(OPA) discovered Onyeme as a material,, whilst, Dr Kayode Collins Farinto, Anioma Maritime Association and another great leader , Prince Ozo Chukwurah were some of the few personalities that made Onyeme.

He said”: Anioma Maritime Association is a group of principle people and our candidate is Onyeme, we are giving him our words to contest that position. With the organogram of ANLCA the NPS should go to us for now.

“As a young and vibrant freight forwarder, he has a long way to go to even contest as president of ANLCA but for now we want him to get this slot for now .

“Farinto Camp is the camp he belong to and no other camp. Of course if he is not competent enough I don’t think we will ask him to contest “, he added.

It would be recalled that Onyeme had declared his interest to contest the post of NPS in May 2023 as a licensed holder of ANLCA .
