ANLCA CRISIS UPDATE: Police Transfers Hoodlums Case To Force Headquarters, As Inspector Sustained Injuries

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has transferred the case involving the arrest of ten hoodlums that attacked the national secretariat of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA ) in Amuwo Odofin , Lagos.

 

Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer,Lagos State Command who spoke with our correspondent last night, confirmed that a personnel of the police was also brutalised by the sponsored thugs .

Adejobi who spoke via the telephone said “I am aware, I know we have some suspects in our custody

“They were so violent that one of our inspectors was cut with cutlass in a bid to restore normalcy

“The matter has been transferred to the Force headquarters for further investigations,”he said.

 

Recall that no fewer than ten hoodlums were Tuesday arrested by the Nigeria Police in connection with an attack on the headquarters secretariat.

Confirming the attack and arrest to our reporter, National Secretary of the association, Alhaji Abdulazeez Mukaila, disclosed that the criminal elements destroyed the CCTV Cameras, destroyed many valuable office equipment, carted away official documents from his office and burnt them at the gate.

“They also stole N2 million cash kept in my drawer for administrative expenses,” he said.
