..Congratulates Muslims On Completion Of Fasting
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), Maritime Police Command, FHQ Annex, Lagos, AIG Olofu Rhoda has congratulated the muslim communities over the successful completion of Ramadan fast.
This was contained in a statement by ASP Ehinmode Rowland Adewumi, acting Police Public Relations Officer, Maritime Police Command Force Headquarters Annex, Lagos on Tuesday 9th April, 2024.
The AIG stated this in her goodwill message to the heads of Commands and Formations under Maritime Police.
AIG Olofu reassured the entire maritime community of the Maritime Police Command’s zeal and commitment to ensuring continuous safety and security of the nation’s inland waterways, ports corridor, creeks, harbours, port terminals, the riverine communities and other critical infrastructure during this Eid-el fitr celebrations.
The AIG Maritime Police Command , further directed the Commissioners of Police, Eastern and Western Ports Command, National Inland Waterways Police and the Force Marine Officer to increase the deployment of Police assets in their areas of responsibility for regular and intensified visibility patrols that will further guarantee the security and protection of the maritime space.
Olofu appealed.to all Muslim faithfuls to remember the teachings, sacrifices, love and virtues that the season represents as we celebrate the end of the Ramadan fast.
“Let us continue to collaborate to ensure a safe, peaceful and secure environment for all, ” the AIG concluded.
