ACCIDENT: One Dead,   Two Rescued At Odo-Olowu Bus Stop Along Apapa Oshodi Expressway  

The Lagos State Emergency Management Authority has rescued two passengers involved in a bus accident at the Odo-Olowu Bus Stop Along Apapa Oshodi Expressway  .

 

According to LASEMA , the tragic side of the accident was that an unidentified male died on the spot.

 

Multiple tweets by LASEMA said: “The Agency activated its Eagle Squad to a road traffic accident at Odo-Olowu, Apapa-Oshodi ExpressWay today, Friday, 30th April 2021.

It said “Consequent upon the arrival of the LASEMA Response Team at the scene, it was discovered a commercial bus with registration number HAL 81 XA tumbled on the expressway due to burst tyre as a result of over-speeding.

It noted that the corpse has been handed over to authorities of the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU for further transfer to the morgue.

 

“Unfortunately, one male adult lost his life, while two others sustained various degrees of injuries and were administered first aid treatment by the LASEMA team.

 

“Thereafter, the body of the male victim was bagged and handed over to State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU for further transfer to the morgue. “, LASEMA tweets read.
