Anambra State government has pulled down adjourning walls blocking buildings and shanties along Onitsha-Owerri Road. The government has also sealed off Aba Park in Onitsha.

This took place today during an operation to rid Onitsha and environs of activities of illegal occupants who indulge in illegal activities, and hide behind the walls to unleash mayhem on residents and passers-by.

Men of the state Physical Planning Board led by its Executive Chairman, Barrister Chike Maduekwe, with heavy security agents stormed the area located at Upper Iweka, Onitsha.
