Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has been appointed Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The appointment is widely seen as a recognition of Governor Uzodimma’s remarkable leadership record, political experience, unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC, and his strategic contributions to the growth, stability and electoral successes of the party.
As Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Uzodimma is expected to play a central role in coordinating the activities and operations of the campaign machinery as the ruling party prepares to mobilise support across the country for President Tinubu’s re-election.
Meanwhile, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima have been named chairman and vice chairman respectively of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
