The Senior Staff Association of Shipping Clearing and Forwarding Agency (SSASCFA) is elated to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Toyin Agbaminoja on her appointment as the new Commissioner of Police in charge of the Western Port Authority Command.
President General of SSASCFA, Comrade Harrison Ugochukwu Asonye in a congratulatory message on Friday, 17 October 2025 said this prestigious role underscores the trust and confidence placed in her by the authorities, and we are optimistic that her leadership will spearhead significant improvements in security and operational efficiency at the port.
Asonye noted that the Union recognizes the critical importance of the Western Port as a major gateway for maritime trade, and the appointment of a committed and seasoned professional like Commissioner Agbaminoja provides a fresh impetus to strengthening law enforcement and ensuring a safe, secure environment for all stakeholders. Her wealth of experience and dedication to public service make her the ideal candidate to lead the police force in this strategically vital area.
The SSASCFA P-G expressed confident that under the new Commissioner stewardship, the collaboration between the police force and the shipping and forwarding community will be greatly enhanced, adding that the partnership is essential for tackling security challenges, preventing illegal activities, and facilitating smooth operations that benefit the economy and the public.
