Apparently determined to create a conducive environment for learning to thrive, the National Broadcast Academy (NBA), has announced plans to upgrade hostel facilities at the Academy by October.
The Director-General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Dr. Muhammed Bulama, made the announcement at the opening ceremony of the Batch B, 2025 Basic Courses in Lagos.
Dr. Bulama who was represented by the Director, NBA, Dr. Samuel Anyanwu, also charged the participants with staying committed to learning and improving themselves throughout their training.
Reeling out school rules, Dr. Anyanwu said students were expected to complete their registration with the Admin Department of the Academy to unlock all the benefits of participation.
Informing Students on the criteria for successful graduation, the Director of Academic Planning, Mrs Adenike Adegoke, advised participants to be punctual at classes and take attendance seriously.

Mrs. Adegoke also encouraged the students to actively network with each other.
Speaking, the Academy’s Bursar, Mrs. Kemi Idowu advised participants to take advantage of the resources available to them at the Academy to achieve their learning goals.
Contributing, the HOD ICT, encouraged students to complete their Online registration.
Addressing the participants, the representative of the Alumni office, Ms. Alex Eke, called on the students to register with the Alumni Association of the School to enjoy Internship postings, references and other scholarly opportunities.
Also, the HOD Digital Library, Mrs. Onyinye Onyeatoelu harped on the need for students to read books to broaden their academic scope.
Students who spoke with correspondent, expressed joy for the opportunity to study at the Academy.
