Rear Admiral Kenedy Chukwuemeka Ezete, who took over as the 42nd Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Naval Command , has begun fostering strong inter-service relationships.

According to a statement on the 9 July 2025, he welcomed Air Vice Marshal SK Aneke, Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command Yenagoa, and his delegation for a courtesy visit.

The meeting highlighted the robust partnership between the Nigerian Navy and Nigerian Air Force, with both leaders reaffirming their dedication to collaboration, particularly in air reconnaissance and information sharing across the South-South region.
