Ship Owners Raise Alarm Over NIMAREX Impostor
Nigeria Shipowners Association (NISA) has raised the alarm over an imposter who claimed to be in charge of Nigerian Maritime Expo (NIMAREX) saying it has not mandated or appointed anyone as Chief Executive Officers of the expo.
In a statement made available to our correspondent by Otunba Olawale Jubril, NISA General Secretary, quoted the NISA President Otunba Sola Adewumi warning the public, particularly the maritime industry, not to deal with a woman who is parading herself as the NIMAREX CEO.
“This is to inform the maritime regulators and stakeholders locally and internationally that whoever that is parading herself as the Chief Executive Officer of NIMAREX does not have the mandate of Nigeria Shipowners Association (NISA), the parent body of NIMAREX.
“Whoever that is dealing with them on behalf of NIMAREX is at their own risk,” said Adewumi.
The public notice reads:
