BREAKING: Comr Akinola Bodunde Emerges President Elect Of SSASCGOC Maritime Branch

Comrade Akinola Bodunde has been elected as the new president, Senior Staff Association of Corporations and Government Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), Maritime Branch.
Bodunde  was elected unopposed in Abuja at the 2nd Quadrennial Delegates Conference,  put together by the Trade Union Congress (TUC) affiliate on Thursday in Abuja.

Comrade Bodunde was the union’s immediate past  General Secretary and from the  human resources department,  Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
The SSASCGOC Maritime Branch newly elected President  succeeded Abdullahi Abubakar who retired from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) after a successful four years tenure.
Other executives include: Comr. I.A Suleiman – General Secretary,Fredrick Ochonogor – Deputy President , 1- Jane Onyowi-Vice President 1, Elizabeth David- Vice President 2 and Tunde Ogbaloi.
Assistant Secretary – Comr . Eko Ali Adolphus, Auditor Comr John Larry, PRO Comr. STD Asaba, Trustee 1 Comr Oluwole Ezikiel,. Trustee2 Comr Oluwole Oluwaseyi , Trustee3 Onwordi Richard and Financial Secretary Comr Pedro Uwadum.

Other are Women Leader – Comr Oluremi Ogunsanya, Lagos Coordinator – Comr Okafor Emmanuel , Eastern Coordinator- Tsanyawa Abdullah I, and Labour Adviser- Comr Mordicaih Peter Kalio.
The newly elected ex- officios are Comr. Emenike Christian, Comr. Sheu Musa, Abiodun Adekunle ,Comr. Komolafe Jamiu, Comr Esu Ofon , Nelson Ikilighi and Comr Aruna Ogiadomeh.
In his welcome address, newly elected President, Comrade Bodunde stated that the executive will work closely with management of NPA for the betterment of workers welfare.
The newly elected President pledged to prioritize workers welfare under the ploy of NPA, adding that SSASCGOC Maritime Branch and the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria MWUN will continue to work harmoniously in furtherance to promote and protect workers in both the junior and senior cadres of NPA.
