ALLEGED FRAUD: Court Acquits Ex-Plateau Governor, Jang Of Criminal Charges.

A Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos on Friday discharged and acquitted a former Governor of the state, Jonah Jang, over the N6.3 billion corruption charges levelled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
Justice Christy Dabup  discharged the Governor of Plateau  State on all counts of dishonesty in the ongoing judgment over alleged 6.3 billion naira fraud.

The court presided over by Justice Christy Dabup also discharged and acquitted a former cashier in the office of the Secretary to the Plateau state government, Yusuf Pam, who was accused alongside the former governor.
EFCC has first arraigned the former governor alongside a former cashier in the Office of the Secretary to the Plateau State Government, Yusuf Pam, in March 2018.
They were arraigned for alleged misappropriation of N6.3bn belonging to the state government.
