RAMADAN: Idimogu Preaches Peace, Prayers For Nigeria

Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Idimogu, has advised all muslims to make peace with one another irrespective of religion, tribe or party affiliation.

 

Idimogu who is the House Member representing Oshodi/Isolo II Constituency gave the message at the beginning of the Ramadan fasting which started on Monday.

 

He recalled the holy month of Ramadan was one of the five pillars of Islam and a great opportunity for all Muslims to purify their minds, body, heart and soul by fasting and praying to Almighty Allah.

He called to mind that Ramadan was not only for fasting but also a period when all Muslims should dedicate themselves to self-sacrifice like abstinence  from taking drink, food and physical needs, asking forgiveness for their wrongdoings and devoting themselves to the worship of Allah.

 

The House member advised all Muslim faithful to use this period to ensure peace and security of one another, adding, no meaningful development would be achieved when the nation is in crisis.

 

“May Allah continue to bless you my constituents in particular, Lagosians and Muslims world over as you start this year’s Ramadan.

“I urged you all to fervently pray for an end to insecurity ravaging almost all parts of the country, for all our leaders at various levels and to also pray for our country,” Idimogu added.
