“We are grateful to God Almighty and to the Nigerian judicial system. We see this victory as a victory for our collective interest as a nation and for the economic stability in the oil sector.

“We appeal to Nigerians from all works of life, especially the political class to play our politics with brotherly love for the promotion of our corporate unity. Let us eschew political bickering or politics of division.

“We also appeal to Tompolo to use his victory at the Court to render more altruistic services to the nation. He should forgive and forget every grievances he perhaps had in mind towards his detractors. The time to heal the old wound is now as Nigeria needs his services one way or the other.

“To the government of Nigeria, Tompolo remains not only an ambassador of peace but also a source of economic growth in the Country.

“We therefore urge President Buhari to renew his contract with NIMASA once it has expired. At this critical period of our very existence, especially arising from the global pandemic which has affected the economy of the world, we need the likes of Tompolo to add value to our dwindling economy. His services are needed at this point in time to recoup the economy.”
