96 Set Of Adeolu Secondary School Begins Preparation For 30 Anniversary

The 1996 set of Adeolu Secondary School, (ADOSSA) , Tolu Complex ,Olodi Apapa Lagos has formally launched preparations for its milestone 30th anniversary celebration with the establishment of a dedicated Planning Committee .

During an online meeting held recently, and.Chaired by Mr. Babatunde Sheriff, the virtual meeting brought together key members who set the foundation for a structured approach to the upcoming anniversary event.

Among the major highlights was the appointment of the Anniversary Planning Committee, tasked with spearheading the event’s organization.

The committee comprises Dr. Thompson Egedegu as Chairman, alongside members Mrs. Comfort Ikel, Mr. Adedeji Segun, Mrs. Abiola Okeseni, and Mrs. Oluchi Joyfidel.

They were mandated to promptly begin preparations, including proposing the date, venue, budget, and logistical arrangements.

The meeting also ratified the formation of a caretaker executive committee with defined roles, including Mr. Sheriff as Coordinator, Pastor David Ekebire as Secretary, and Dr. Thompson Egedegu as Financial Secretary.

A minimum monthly due of ₦500 was proposed upon, pending a broader platform vote to confirm contributions.

Additionally, members tackled administrative matters such as opening the set’s bank account and developing a constitution or bylaw, which will incorporate best practices and guidance from previous sets.

The coordinator emphasized consulting former sets to draw from their experience for a successful anniversary celebration. The committee was given one month to come back with a full report ahead of the next scheduled meeting on December 6, 2025.

This proactive step marks a significant milestone for ADOSSA 96 Set as it celebrates three decades of camaraderie and shared history..

The 30th anniversary is expected to hold in 2026 but no date has been fix by the committee.
