“During the inception of Covid-19, the DG directed us to make our contributions in fighting this pandemic. We initially thought it was a joke, but we were drained to deliver on mandate.

At the end of the day, we are really proud that we made our input felt in the fight to curtail the spread of this pandemic. And it’s all thanks to the visionary and focused leadership of our father, General Shuaibu.

“Let me also thank the ever ready, responsive, responsible and disciplined corps members without whom these whole exercises wouldn’t have been possible.

“You guys made me proud. And I pray that when the history of Covid-19 and the 47th anniversary of NYSC will be written, your names will be written in gold”, Samuel said.
