WAM Football Academy Calls Out Agali, Ndidi, Iwobi , Ikpeba,  Kanu, Others To Help Ex  Goalie , Peter Fregene 

The entire management of WAM International  Football Academy has  solicited financial support for one of  Nigerian ex goalkeeper in the person of Peter Fregene who has been down with stroke.

The Academy reiterated that now is the time for both ex and present international Super Eagles players to come together and share thoughts on how to assist the legendary goalkeeper.

Chairman of the Academy, Mr. William Ayodeji Michaels said the  clarion call to all  ex and present football players to rise to the occasion and support their own at this critical time of his life was long overdue, adding that Fregene is a legend that Nigerians should celebrate when alive and not after death.

The chairman mentioned the likes of Kanu Nwankwo, JJ Okocha, Victor Ikpeba, Victor Agali to come to Fregene aid and assist him financially calling on the present crops of the Nigerian football internationals  such as the likes of Victor Oshimeh , Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi and others to save the ill goalie.

In a message sent to DAILY FOCUS NIGERIA on Tuesday, Ayodeji said “PETER FREGENE is one of our LEGENDS and if we can all celebrate  PELE , MARADONA who had passed on the glory beyond we shouldn’t wait until PETER FREGENE join them before we start celebrating him please let’s do it now.

” Therefore, we call on all Ex Nigerian internationals footballers the likes of  KANU NWANKO, VICTOR IKPEBA, VICTOR AGALI,ETC to come to his aid and assist financially.

” The WAM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL ACADEMY is also calling on the present crops of the Nigerian football internationals  such as the likes of VICTOR OSHIMEN”,  he added.

He said the Itsekiri born pair of safe hands is still down with stroke despite deaf ears from  NFF and the Sports Ministry respectively, noting that aside the Nigerian footballers, past and present, other meaningful Nigerians and Godly Spirit filled indigenes should assist the  senior citizens to uplift him from his present state .

Ex-Green Eagles, Goal Keeper, Peter Fregene has been down with stroke for a long while without no positive attention from Nigerians.

During his days, Fregene was the Goalkeeper to beat.The former ace “Flying Cat” as he was fondly called for his sharp reflexes and accuracy of determining direction of incoming shots can’t be overemphasized.
